Dating from the 18th century, it rapidly earned recognition as one of the finest vineyards in the appellation for its outstanding terroir. In 1889 it won gold at the World's Fair in Paris.
This estate with its hundred-year-old vines and low yields today receives our utmost care and attention.
A full bouquet, fine and flavoursome, dense and velvety, a lovely gold colour, rich on the nose and very expressive dominated by toasty notes, this wine is delicious and will delight true aficionados of Sauternes.
