This powerful red offers a muscular core of roasted fig, blackberry and cassis fruit framed by thick, mesquite-tinged tannins, with loads of tobacco, pepper and tar coating the mouthwatering finish. Yet despite its power, this is racy and defined. Best from 2014 through 2024.

Vivid purple. A heady, assertively scented bouquet displays cherry-vanilla and boysenberry, complicated by notes of rose and violet. Sweet and expansive, offering lush red and dark berry compote flavors and sexy vanilla and mocha nuances. Becomes spicier with air and finishes with impressive cling and lingering sweetness. This wine will be drinkable on the young side.
