If you are a
local Westchester or Putnam County or New York City Customer we can organize
your purchase for pick-up at Sterling Cellars of Mahopac. Feel free to
utilize the website to review wines available at the store; call us; e-mail;
or use our secure server to place your order; give Sterling an approximate
date and time you would like to pick up your selections, and have them
ready and waiting.

Shipping Minimum: (effective 2/20/04)
In order to provide
you with the most efficient service, and to continue to provide all of
our customers with the best prices for products and the expedient handling
of those products for shipment, Sterling Cellars cannot accept orders
for shipments with a purchase price of less than $50.00 excluding
shipping and handling.

· Ground Service - approximately 2-5 business days in transit
· 2nd Day Air - 2 business days in transit
· Next Day Air - 1 business day in transit
· Refrigerated Truck - Please inquire for transit times
· Local Delivery (Westchester County & Manhattan only) Inquire
as to cost.
Insurance:
1% of
the total purchase price will automatically be added to your order to
cover any breakage or loss that may occur. If you would like to decline
this coverage please uncheck the acceptance box on the shipping form.
By waiving the guarantee you relinquish Sterling Cellars of any and all
responsibility of breakage or loss that may occur to your order.
Shipping Disclaimer:
The
purchase of wine or spirits through this site, and the payment of New
York sales tax, assumes that buyer has taken possession of their purchase
in New York, and simply authorizes Sterling Cellars to ship them their
rightful property. Non-New York residents are responsible for determining
whether they may lawfully import alcoholic beverages into their state.
Under no circumstance will Sterling Cellars ship to any of the following
states; Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina,
and Tennessee. Residents of those states should call Sterling Cellars
at 1-845-628-1933 to discuss options. Sterling Cellars makes no legal
claim relative to your right to import wine or spirits into a specific
state. Since each state has individual standards regarding importation
of alcoholic beverages, you may want to check with the appropriate agency
concerning such importation. Changes in state law may invalidate a transaction.
If such a circumstance
should arise prior to shipment of the wine or spirits, a full refund would
be authorized. Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons
who are at least 21 years old and in placing your order you represent
to us that you are at least 21 years old and the person to whom delivery
will be made is at least 21 years old. When your order is delivered
the person receiving delivery may be required to show identification.

And Rare Wines:
Please note that
in the instances of older vintages and fine and rare wines availability
in many cases is extremely limited. We will do our best to fill your order
but can not be held responsible if an item is unobtainable at that time.
